TCLF was fortunate enough to host Ms. Aishwarya Bhati (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India) for the first episode. Ms. Bhati was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Supreme Court of India last year. Previously, she has also served in the capacity of an Additional Advocate General for the State of Uttar Pradesh and as Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
Conversation in the first episode is based on the theme “Feminist Perspectives to the Constitution and the Journey of a Woman Litigator”. Ms. Bhati talks about her journey as a litigator, the recent judgment of the Supreme Court allowing for permanent commissioning of women in the army and much more.
