Guest Profile:

Dr. Aggarwal a legal luminaire in the area of Competition Law with 27 years of experience, did his Ph.D. (Commerce) with research on “A Study of Unfair Trade Practices under the provisions of the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969” (MRTP Act) now Competition Act, 2002. He has worked closely with the MRTP Commission for more than seven years in various capacities. Handling matters related to Antitrust/Competition Law under various Acts; the MRTP Act (repealed in September 2009), the Competition Act, 2002, appearing before Competition Commission of India (CCI), Competition Appellate Tribunal (COMPAT) now National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), various High Courts and Supreme Court of India. He is a prolific writer and has many Articles to his credit on the various topics of the Competition Law and an online Certificate Course titled as “Analytical Jurisprudence of Competition Law in India” for Manupatra (www.lawskills.in). He is also a Visiting Faculty for LL. B and LL. M classes for Competition Law in reputed Law Universities.
