Tanya is a Senior Associate at Law Offices of Panag and Babu where she focuses on conducting internal investigations and defending the firm’s corporate clients facing cross jurisdictional enforcement actions. She has conducted numerous investigations pertaining to internal and external company matters such as whistle-blower complaints, violation of provisions of employment agreements etc. and has also conducted various investigations involving nuances of corporate compliance with government regulations. Tanya’s expertise involves conducting investigations and the defense for large fortune 500 corporations, manufacturing and tech based companies, executives and financial institutions who are under investigation by various agencies (including the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) for violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Germany’s Criminal Code (Strafgesetzbuch- StGB), UK Bribery Act, in addition to other foreign legislations dealing with bribery of foreign public officials in India.
