TCLF ONE-ON-ONE| Ep. 13 Ms. Nehaa Chaudhari: Contemporary Developments in Data Protection & Privacy

We are delighted to bring to you all the 13th episode of TCLF One-on-One. We were honoured to host Ms. Nehaa Chaudhari as our guest for this episode.

Ms Chaudhari is currently an equity partner at Ikigai Law. She completed her undergraduate law degree from NALSAR University, Hyderabad in 2013, and worked with the Centre for Internet Society for 3 years. She then went on to pursue an LLM in Technology Law and Policy at the Harvard Law School, where she worked closely with the Berkman Klein Centre for Internet and Society. Currently at Ikigai Law she heads the Public Policy Practice, where she advises diverse stakeholders, including technology companies, industry associations, and think-tanks. She regularly publishes academic writing and opinion pieces in journals, national dailies and media platforms. She has taught courses on Technology Law and Policy at leading universities in India.

Conversation in this episode is based on the theme “Contemporary Developments in Data Privacy – India and Abroad”. Ms. Chaudhari talks about legal and policy intricacies of the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019, commercial implications of privacy and data protection around the world and much more.
